With the decision of February 16, 2022, the Federal Council lifted all corona measures. My courses, therefore, take place without any obligations in this regard.
Participants who want to continue to wear a mask can of course do so. I will continue to provide disinfectants. By the way, I myself have a 3G certificate.
A happy new year!
Let’s make a simple Japanese menu together online on Sunday, January 9th at 5:00 pm!
We can make Duck breast with miso sauce, soba noodles, and homemade goma tofu.
I want to start at 5 pm. In the end, we will do “Kanpai!” at 7 p.m.
Do you already have the “Zoom App” on a tablet (https://zoom.us/) or on a notebook with a camera?
The recipe will be sent after your registration.
Have a good week!
Yoko
I know that there are many tofu stores in Switzerland.
It is difficult to find tofu that is suitable for frying.
Because of the hard water, you can only find very soft silken tofu or very hard cotton tofu.
I think the moderately silky tofu from Spain (available at Nishi Japan Shop) or Migros tofu (still very soft, but ok).

Why don’t you make nigiri sushi together in the online class on Sunday, May 16th from 4 pm to 5:45 pm?
You will be able to make cool nigiri-sushi like those made by professionals.
This time I want to make sushi with salmon and tuna.
Of course, you can prepare the sushi with prawns, scallops, and avocado. You can use a kitchen (flambé) burner if you have one.

Dear customers
Under the rule of “up to 5 private meetings”, we will only provide private classrooms at my home or at your home upon request.
Course participants do not necessarily have to come from a single household, as federal household regulation is only a recommendation. We can hold private courses for up to 4 people (5 people including me), but we are closed for regular classes. Thank you for your understanding.
I look forward to seeing you in our online class!

A happy New Year.
I started making osechi from yesterday night and finished it at noon.
I hope I can eat the New Year dishes made by my mother at my parents’ house next year. Wishing you and your family a safe, healthy, and prosperous new year!
