How I calmed my mind with matcha.
When I was working as a computer engineer in Japan, I couldn’t stop thinking about the programs I was developing, even at night and on weekends. My brain was working non-stop.
Fortunately, I came across the tea ceremony, and my mind, overloaded with work, came to rest. I was now able to concentrate on other things.
Since then, I have been refreshing my mind and body by preparing and drinking matcha. The caffeinating effect of matcha lasts longer than that of coffee. The sound of the chashaku, the teaspoon and the chasen, the tea whisk, the aroma of the matcha and the beautiful tea bowl stimulate my senses and give me a feeling of mental refreshment.
Matcha can be prepared anytime and anywhere.
