About Participating in Our Classes

FAQ

Joining & Eligibility

Q1. From what age can I join?

Regular classes are available from age 9. There is no age limit for private classes.

Q2. Can vegetarians or vegans join?

Yes. The sushi class, the Vegetarian Ramen class, and the Mochi & Matcha class are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Note: The Vegetarian Ramen class does not serve meat. If you would like meat, please book the regular Ramen class. Conversely, the regular Ramen class cannot provide a vegetarian ramen option.

Q3. I booked this Sunday’s Ramen class, but it disappeared from the booking list. Is it still happening?

Yes, it will be held as scheduled. It disappears from the list because the class is fully booked. Your reservation remains valid. We will contact you by email only if there is any change. Please also check your booking confirmation email (including the spam/junk folder).

Q4. Can I try the instructor certification course?

Yes. If you are interested in the Table Style Tea Ceremony certification, please contact us via the inquiry form.

Booking & Vouchers

Q5. I already have a gift voucher — how do I book?

Please book online. Select your class and date, enter the voucher name/number in the remarks field on the booking page, then stop before payment (to avoid double payment). We will verify your voucher and send the booking confirmation by email.

Q6. I want to give the class as a gift — how does it work?

Purchase a voucher in our voucher shop, download it immediately, write the recipient’s name, and send it to your friend or partner. If you prefer postal delivery, we can send a printed voucher with the recipient’s name for an additional CHF 3.

Q7. Do you offer a children’s discount?

We do not currently offer a children’s discount. For birthdays and similar events, a weekday (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu) Private “Plus” booking for 8 or more guests can be more economical. Details:
